Linnean is working with the City of Medford Board of Health to help align Medford’s emergency management and hazard mitigation efforts with the city’s climate resilience planning.

These services build on findings emphasized during the City’s Municipal Vulnerability (MVP) Workshop (March 7, 2018), as well as expand upon and strengthen the city’s current efforts to identify and reach vulnerable populations, particularly with respect to reducing the impact of hazards from climate change. This work supports future updates to the Emergency Management Plan (2004) and Hazard Mitigation Plan (2017), enhances alignment between the Office of Energy and Environment and the Board of Health, and begins to help the City integrate resilience thinking into its emergency management and hazard mitigation planning.
