Linnean served as the LEED Consultant for Spofford Building 1A, a 50,000 square-foot project, and LEED Provider for Building 1B, a multifamily, high-rise building pursuing LEED for Homes. Building 1A is a light industrial development that includes a bakery, brewery, restaurant, and other production facilities. Several of the design aspects include a rooftop that is constructed with solar PV to reduce the building’s overall energy demands and the location is ideal for walkability and access to mass transit. The project is part of the larger peninsula development that includes several high-rise residential projects and mixed-use buildings. Linnean also provided building energy modeling services.
